Volunteer
The largest volunteer network of its kind

It is the tireless energy of over 8,000 volunteers - scientists, educators, parents - through a network of over 100 local organizations from British Columbia to Nunavut to Newfoundland and Labrador that encourages the scientific efforts of over half a million young Canadians.

Volunteering can take many forms. Helping out for a few hours at a local fair, mentoring a budding young scientist, acting as a chaperone at international events, judging or even lending your skills to fundraising – these are just some of the essential roles our volunteers take on in their communities.

Volunteers have an opportunity to meet a wide range of Canadians from right across the country – parents, teachers, business leaders, researchers, college and university staff and faculty.
