Fire Ban Lifted
The total fire ban put in place on May 17 has been lifted by Haliburton County's four Chief Fire Officials following the weekend's precipitation. This means that daytime burn permits are re-activated and that outdoor burning is once again permitted between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. More information on burning regulations can be found on the Township of Algonquin Highlands website: https://www.algonquinhighlands.ca/fire-services.php
